Concerning the establishment of a threshold of fifty-six hours in a workweek for when an agricultural employer is required to pay overtime to an agricultural employee.
Bill Summary:
The Beginning January 1 ,2027, the bill requires an agricultural employer to pay an certain agricultural employee employees overtime pay for time worked in excess of 60 56 hours in a workweek. By repealing and reenacting the section, the bill repeals the authority of the director of the division of labor standards and statistics to adopt rules concerning overtime pay for agricultural employees.
